Manufactured in 1942. The original sights are properly absent, with "RA/ordnance bomb/8-43" on the barrel, "R" marked bolt with properly turned and contoured handle, and the properly offset manufacturer, model and serial number markings on the receiver ring. A parkerized Redfield scope base is mounted with staked screws, and the included Weaver M73B1 scope is hand-numbered "1596" on the lower right side next to the data plate. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a circled unserifed "P" on the wrist, "RA", "crossed cannons", and "FJA" on the left side, "S.A./K" on the buttstock, and a flat checkered steel buttplate. A canvas muzzle protector is included.

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, with 98% plus parkerized finish, showing some light edge wear and handling marks. The stock is also very fine, with some light dents and white spots. The scope shows some mild external wear, with 95% blue finish, solid reticle and clear optics. Mechanically excellent.
