This is 1 of 2,020 rifles manufactured between 1922 and 1924. The survival rate of the Model 1922 is low as most were converted to a later configuration. The barrel is marked "S A/flaming bomb/7-22", and the receiver has the standard markings with a Lyman fully adjustable rear peep sight mounted on the right rear. The bright polished bolt is marked "W L/3" on the top flat of the handle and is not numbered on the body. Smooth, unmarked pistol grip stock with a checkered cupped steel buttplate. Includes correct extended length magazine.

Fine. 50% original arsenal blue finish remains with some areas of edge wear, light spotting, and scattered small scratches and nicks. The barrel band is refinished. The stock is also fine with scattered small scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.
