Description:

Manufactured in 1913, in the first block of the second year of production. Blade front and round top rear sights, with the two-line, two-block address and patent dates ahead of the Rampant Colt on the left side of the slide, "MODEL OF 1911 U.S. ARMY" on the right, Penfield "WGP" inspected frame, "33" stamped on the right side above the magazine catch, long smooth trigger, wide checkered hammer, short grip safety, flat mainspring housing, an unmarked two-tone magazine, and a barrel marked "P H" on top of the hood, "T" on the left side of the lug and "5" ahead of the lug. With a brown leather flap holster marked "(illegible)/CAMBELL/1917/R.J.M." on the back.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 50% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, bright edge wear, mild spotting and scattered handling marks. The grips are fair, with some scuffs, heavy dents and flat spots. The holster is good, with cracking in the flap and mild scuffs and stains. Mechanically excellent.
