Description:

This is an exceptional example of a very rare fully automatic scaled down version of the famous US Browning machine gun chambered in 22 Magnum. This is a very rare example as almost all of these HBs were produced in semi-automatic only version. This particular example includes an August 12, 1985, dated letter signed by Dennis J. Tippmann identifying this gun by serial number as the very first of its kind built at Tippmann Arms Company. This example is fully functional and requires a SOT/NFA Class III license to purchase. The right side of the receiver is hand stamped with the factory three-line markings that read: "MOD. 50 HB NO. F A12/TIPPMANN ARMS CO./FT. WAYNE IND." The barrel has correct original M2 HB profile with a perforated barrel trunnion and carrying handle on the barrel. The top cover opens up to load the gun, and it has the side mounted cocking handle. The rear of the receiver is fitted with a folding adjustable ladder rear sight, and a hooded blade front sight is mounted to the front of the receiver. The tripod and T&E mechanism are both fully functional and operational. It is complete with original hardwood crate that holds the receiver, barrel, tripod, T&E mechanism, and manual.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. 97% plus original blue finish remains with some scattered light spotting, handling marks, and some small marks from being mounted to the tripod. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine with some dings and storage marks. NOTE: This item is restricted as a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) that is classified as a "Curios or Relic" as defined in 27 CFR, 478.11. These weapons are still subject to the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
