This carbine shows the standard markings and features of the 1,500 Limited Edition I carbines released in 1977 including the wildlife scene etched receiver. However, this example bears the desirable and previously unreleased serial number "77L0", which would make it the very first of this special series. The included FN America Certificate of Provenance identifies the carbine by model and serial number, stating that it was previously a part of the Winchester Factory Collection where it was maintained by U.S. Repeating Arms.

Excellent overall, retains 99% plus original finishes with some wear from the barrel band on the forearm, factory grease, and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent.
