This carbine appears to be one of the final prototypes of the Model 9422M carbine that was part of 1,000 matched sets released by Winchester in 1979. It shows the standard markings and features of the publicly released examples while bearing the experimental serial number "EXP1MR000". The included FN America Certificate of Provenance identifies the carbine by model and serial number, stating that it was previously a part of the Winchester Factory Collection where it was maintained by U.S. Repeating Arms.

Excellent overall, retains 99% plus original finishes with only the slightest handling marks and factory storage grease. Mechanically excellent.
