This rifle shows the standard markings and features of the NRA Centennial rifles which were manufactured in 1971. This example however, has a factory oval "P" proof on the barrel and the desirable, previously unreleased, and very first of the rifle series, serial number "NRA0A". The "A" suffix having been added to differentiate it from the first NRA Centennial musket of the series (serial number "NRA0"), which sold in our May Premier Auction. The included FN America Certificate of Provenance identifies the rifle by model and serial number, stating that it was previously a part of the Winchester Factory Collection where it was maintained by U.S. Repeating Arms.

Excellent overall, retains 99% original blue finish with a few light handling marks scattered throughout. Mechanically excellent.
