This carbine shows the standard markings and features of the 2,500 Nebraska Centennial commemorative carbines manufactured in 1966, one of Winchester's earliest commemoratives. This example however, has the desirable, previously unreleased, and most likely first in the series serial number "NCXXXX1". The included FN America Certificate of Provenance identifies the carbine by model and serial number, stating that it was previously a part of the Winchester Factory Collection where it was maintained by U.S. Repeating Arms.

Excellent, retains 99% plus original blue finish with only the slightest handling marks. The wood is fine with a minor chip in the toe and retaining most of the varnish. Factory storage grease throughout. Mechanically excellent.
