This carbine shows the standard markings and features of the 6,000 Annie Oakley commemorative carbines released by Winchester in 1982, including floral scroll and Annie Oakley related engraving. This example, however, bears the previously unreleased serial number "XAOK875", with the "X" being above the rest of the serial number and larger. This "X" could possibly be an experimental marking or identifying this example as having a duplicate serial number to another gun. The included FN America Certificate of Provenance identifies the carbine by model and serial number (listed as "AOK875X"), stating that it was previously a part of the Winchester Factory Collection where it was maintained by U.S. Repeating Arms.

Excellent overall, retains 99% plus original finishes with only the slightest handling marks and factory storage grease. Mechanically excellent.
