Description:

Manufactured in 1857. Standard markings and features of the U.S. martial revolvers of the period, including cartouches on the grip, small inspection markings, and all matching serial numbers. "F N Buck" has also been hand scratched into the butt of the back strap.

Rating Definition:

Very good as chemically cleaned with some discoloration on the barrel and mostly smooth brown patina on the steel throughout. The grip straps have attractive aged patina. The markings are mostly crisp throughout. The grip is also very good and has minor edge wear, light scratches, and smooth oiled finish. Mechanically fine.
