Manufactured in the late 1980s-1990s by Vollmer Mfg. of Bloomington, Illinois, this is a finely made copy of the 1919 Browning 30 Caliber Machine Gun, scaled down to match the .22 Long Rifle cartridge and configured for semi-automatic fire only. Overall length is 19 1/4 inches, with a blade front sight and folding adjustable rear sight on the receiver, air-cooled barrel with ventilated heat shield, and a checkered pistol grip. The right side of the receiver is marked "Vollmer Mfg./Bloomington, IL/MOD. 1919/S/N 101" behind the cocking handle, and a sliding safety is installed on the rear above the pistol grip. Included with the 1919 is a folding steel tripod, traverse & elevation mechanism, five cloth ammunition belts (empty), hardwood transport crate and two ammo cans, all scaled to match.

Near new, with only the slightest handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent. The crate is very fine with some light handling/storage marks and the accessories are excellent.
