Manufactured in 1874 as a third model with the serial number stamped in block numerals behind the trigger. The barrel is fitted with a dovetail blade front sight and a folding ladder rear sight and is stamped with the two-line Winchester legend. The top of the receiver has a dovetail slot for sight mounting. The straight grip stock is fitted with a brass trapdoor crescent buttplate (cleaning rod not included).

Good. The barrel and magazine have a dark mottled brown patina. The brass has an even aged patina. The refinished wood is good with a hairline stress crack in the wrist, chipping at the tangs and minor dings and scratches. Mechanically fine.
