Manufactured in 1908. The 22 inch round barrel is chambered in .30 WCF, has a dovetail beaded blade Lyman front sight, a three-leaf express rear sight graduated from 50 to 200 yards and a full length magazine is stamped with the two-line address/patent date marking followed by the two-line nickel steel marking and "30 W.C.F." on the left side. The 26 inch tapered, extra lightweight type barrel is chambered in .38-55 WCF, has a raised beaded blade Lyman front sight, an elevation adjustable rear sight, a half magazine, and is stamped with the two-line address/patent date marking ahead of the rear sight and "38-55" at the breech on top and "NICKEL STEEL" on the left side. Each barrel has a matching nicely figured and checkered walnut forearm. There is a Lyman receiver sight, and the upper tang is marked with the model/trade mark information. The nicely figured pistol grip stock has a Winchester hard rubber grip cap and shotgun buttplate. The left side of the lower tang is marked "9064 R". The assembly number "9064" is repeated on the stock inlet. This rifle is pictured and identified in George Madis' "The Winchester Book" on page 422. Deluxe rifles with special order spare barrel sets like this example are rare. It has been estimated that only 119 Model 1894 rifles in this configuration were manufactured.

Very fine. Each barrel set retains 95% plus original blue finish and have forearms with minor handling marks and crisp checkering overall. The receiver and bolt retain 75% plus original blue finish with extensive speckling of brown spots on the balance. 95% original case colors remain on the hammer and lever. The buttstock is very fine with some minor dings and scratches and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Winchester deluxe Model 1894 takedown two barrel set rifles are rarely cataloged.
