Description:

Manufactured in 1888. Single bead sight on the unmarked barrel with a 2 5/8 inch chamber and choke measuring full. Standard "WRACO" monogram on the left side of the receiver. Smooth two-piece slab forend and pistol grip stock with checkered iron buttplate and 12 3/4 inch length of pull. The included factory letter confirms the current configuration as well as receipt at the warehouse on 29 June 1888 and shipment 2 October 1889 in order number 3272.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retains 70% original blue finish and 60% of the original case colors with the balance a brown-grey patina and some very light pitting on the left lower forward side of receiver and bottom of the magazine tube. The wood is also very fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
