This is a seldom encountered Winchester 1885 High Wall shotgun. Only a few hundred of these are estimated to have been manufactured towards the end of production around 1913-1923 with this example being manufactured in 1913. Standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech and single brass bead front sight. The stock and forearm are smooth walnut and have an ebony tip insert and a checkered hard rubber buttplate. 2 3/4 inch chamber, choke marked "FULL", and 13 3/8 inch length of pull.

Fine, retains 60% plus original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown-grey patina, mainly concentrated on the receiver. The wood is very fine with some minor dings and scratches scattered throughout and a moderate dent on the left of the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
