These conversion style revolvers were manufactured as a cartridge revolver circa 1873-1875 by Colt using existing percussion revolvers or parts and manufacturing new components to accept cartridges. This example has the standard markings and matching numbers on the barrel, frame, grip straps and cylinder. The wedge is un-numbered. Comes with an attractive floral tooled leather slim jim holster with retention flap.

Fine. The revolver retains 60% original nickel finish with the balance a mottled gray patina. There are a series of tool like marks on the barrel. Nearly all of the cylinder scene remains. The grip straps retain 60% original silver plating. The grip is very fine showing some minor pressure dents and retaining nearly all of the finish. Mechanically excellent. The holster is also fine showing flex wear and tight stitching.
