The blued trigger guard is engraved to match with a small bust of a setter at the center. With dual triggers and automatic sliding tang safety. Attractively figured walnut straight grip stock with multi-point checkering, spear point accented flats, Anson push button type forearm release with engraved fittings, initial oval inscribed "L", and checkered hard rubber buttplate.

Fine with 99% of the professionally restored blue finish on the barrels, areas of visible mild pitting on the rib and barrel tubes, and a very slight plum cast to the color. The action has 85% vibrant restored case colors with crisp engraving and some visible pitting along the lower left edge. The wood is also fine with a freshened oil finish, sharp freshened checkering, some small dings and pressure marks. Mechanically excellent.
