Casehardened box lock action with nearly fully coverage fine leafy scroll engraving with the Remington name on the sides over detailed game bird field scenes with grouse on the right and woodcock on the left. The trigger plate and guard have matching fine scroll engraving. With dual triggers and automatic sliding tang safety. Fancy figured walnut pistol grip stock with multi-point checkering, carved spear point accents on the checkered flats, checkered forearm with fancy ribbon scroll borders, Anson push button latch, engraved fittings, scalloped horn grip cap, blank silver initial oval and serrated horn buttplate.

Very fine with 90% plus factory quality refinished blue on the barrels, scattered surface scratches and nicks, mild edge wear on the rib and muzzle, and handling marks overall. The action has 70% original faded case colors with a uniform gray patina on the balance, well defined, detailed engraving, and scratches on the trigger guard. The wood is fine with mildly worn, though crisp checkering, small dings overall, and some larger scratches on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
