Casehardened box lock action with full coverage fine floral and scroll engraving surrounding detailed game bird scenes of a quail on the right, wood ducks on the left, and grouse on the underside. Each grouping of birds features its own detailed habitat background. The blued trigger guard is engraved to match with a pigeon at the center. With dual triggers and automatic sliding tang safety. Attractively figured walnut straight grip stock with multi-point checkering, fleur-de-lis accented checkered flats, fancy scalloped ribbon borders, Anson push button type forearm release with engraved fittings, blank initial oval, added cheekpiece and butt extension, decal depicting a Native American on the right side of the butt, and rubber recoil pad.

Very good. Barrels have 60% refinished blue with areas of mottled brown patina, small dings, and a small hole drilled in the under rib just ahead of the mid-point. The action has a mostly dark gray patina with some original case colors in the protected areas, well-defined and detailed engraving, and a mixed brown/blue patina on the trigger guard. The wood is fair as altered with well-defined, mostly crisp checkering, dents and pressure marks throughout, and heavy deformation/deterioration of the pad. Mechanically excellent.
