Manufactured circa 1909. This is one of a very few Model 1908s ordered without the milling for the round tubular folding stock. According to the consignor, this is 1 of only 2 discovered to date without milling for a shoulder stock. It has the caliber marking ("CALIBERS - 22&44") on the upper right side of the chamber block, "-MANUFACTURED BY THE-/MARBLE SAFETY AXE CO./-GLADSTONE, MICH.U.S.A.-/MARBLE ARMS & MFG.CO./SUCCESSOR" on the left side of the chamber block, "GAME GETTER" on the left side of the frame, and "PATENT/ALLOWED" on the right side of the frame. Blade front and folding notch rear sights, serrated hammer with mobile striker and checkered hard rubber grips with Marble trade mark logo at the top. Both barrels are rifled. Comes with a leather holster.

Excellent with 90% plus original blue finish remaining showing some muzzle, high edge and grip strap wear. There is some light spotting on the back strap and mild tool marks are present around the barrel pins, which have contrasting finish. The grips are very fine with some minor lower edge wear, a few minor notches on the lower left side edge and a couple of scratches on the bottom. The checkering is crisp. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically fine. The holster is fair with overall age cracking and some lost stitching. A desirable Marble Arms Game Getter Model 1908 Combination Pistol with the extremely rare frame lacking milling for a shoulder stock.
