Manufactured from 1872 to 1874 with this example chambered in scarce .44 Henry Rimfire as the standard caliber was .44 S&W American. The right grip panel is numbered to the gun, and matching assembly number "825" is on the grip frame, cylinder, barrel and barrel latch.

Rating Definition:

Fine, retaining 40% bright original high polish blue finish with the balance a smooth brown-gray patina. Patterns of original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger guard. The grips are also very good with some minor-moderate dings. Mechanically needs work as cylinder does not lock. Provenance: Dr. Gerald Klaz collection.
