The barrel has "LONDON" on top of the breech section, Birmingham proofs on the bottom (1813 or later), and an interesting detachable bayonet with 10 3/4 inch blade and "WT" marked base. The barrel tang, lock, and iron furniture have primarily scroll and floral engraving. The lock is marked "RICHARDS." The stock has a checkered wrist.

Very good plus with a mix of gray and brown patina throughout along with some varnish, some patches of oxidation/pitting, and general mild wear. The revarnished stock is good and has a chip of wood absent at the toe, crack in the forend, crisp checkering, and general scrapes and dings. Mechanically fine.
