Description:

It has an adjustable semi-globe front sight, flared rib for rear sight mounting, an adjustable Allen 1862 patent peep sight with rotating disk for range adjustment fitted into the integral base on the upper tang, "H. BURGSMULLER, KREIENSEN." silver inlaid on the top of the barrel, "5.03" proof date, "1" on the bottom of the barrel and inside the forearm as well as the left side of the lever, crowned BUG proofs, "944" on the lower left barrel flat, "B" and "V" on the lower right barrel flat, black leaf engraving as well as portraits of marksmen in traditional attire on the sides of the action, double set triggers, floral carving at the tip of the forearm, checkering at the rear of the forearm, and checkered wrist with some floral borders, large cheek rest, a running stag in a wooded scene on the right, and a single hook buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very fine overall with 95% plus original blue and 85%casehardened finish, crisp engraving, distinct markings, a few minor dings and scratches, and generally only minimal age and storage related wear. Wood is also very fine with scattered scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.
