Blued barrels with solid matted rib fitted with a bead front sight, signed on each side on the barrel bolster “HOLLAND & HOLLAND. LONDON.”, engraved with a narrow band of foliage around the breech of the top barrel, struck on the under with London proof marks dated to 1997 and with importer's mark beneath the forearm. Bright side plated action profusely engraved with deep scrollwork against a blackened ground, and with automatic safety incorporating the barrel selector and hold open top lever. Well figured semi-pistolgrip stock with checkered grip and forearm, dark horn cap to the pistolgrip, the underside of the butt with gold initial oval engraved with the initials “G.J.K.”, and checkered dark horn butt plate. The edge of the trigger plate signed by the engraver “Gary Clark”. With lined and fitted Americase aluminum case with a red leather gilt lettered Holland & Holland trade label pasted in the lid. Bore and stock measurements (U/O): both barrels proved at 15.6mm (.614), measuring .614/.614 at 9 inches from the breech; minimum wall thickness .028/.029; 3 inch (76mm) chambers; chokes measured at .007/.010; drop at comb 1 3/8 inches, drop at heel 2 inches, length of pull 14 1/4 inches; weight 6 lbs. 2 oz.

In very little used condition with this gun having spent most of its life in storage with Holland & Holland in London. The barrels retain 98% plus of the original blued finish with some slight muzzle rub. The action and trigger guard remain bright and blemish free with crisp, sharp engraving throughout. The stock have occasional very slight storage blemishes, and the checkering is crisp and sharp to both the grip and forearm. Mechanically excellent.
