Manufactured in 1915. Standard fixed sights, two-line address/patent dates (1897 and 1902) on the left side of the slide with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, and "AUTOMATIC COLT/CALIBRE 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" on the right side of the slide. "VP/P" is marked on the left side of the trigger guard, with a checkered casehardened spur hammer, "COLT" banner grips, and a full blue magazine. This pistol passed through the London Proof House in 2010, with a set of "crown/GP" proofs on the top of the frame and underside of the slide, and a nitro proof, "38 ACP" and "LP/10" on the right side of the barrel; all of these markings are concealed on assembly. A laser engraved import mark is present on the left side of the magazine well.

Very fine, with 85% of the bright original high polish blue finish, showing some areas of brown and gray patina, bright edge wear, and light handling marks. 90% case colors are present on the hammer, and the lightly faded grips are fine with some light scratches. Mechanically excellent.
