Manufactured in late 1941. Fixed blade and notch sights, correct matching "P" proofs on the matching serialized slide and frame, "T/VP" and "69" on the trigger guard with the boxed "W.B." inspection mark on the left side of the frame. No "crossed cannon" stamp is present, but "R-S" is stamped on the frame next to the disconnector. Wide knurled hammer, short milled trigger, long grip safety, arched checkered mainspring housing, "R" marked full blue magazine, Colt grips (hollow backs, reinforced screw escutcheons) and a "COLT 45 AUTO" marked barrel with a small "G" ahead of the lug.

Excellent plus, as issued, with 99% plus original parkerized finish, showing some bright cycling wear, takedown lines and light handling marks. Nearly all of the original blue is present on the chamber hood. The grips are also excellent plus. Mechanically excellent. If you want to own one, here it is!
