Manufactured in 1897 with standard Winchester markings, blade front, folding buckhorn rear , and tang mounted peep sights, and a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with special order hard rubber shotgun buttplate.

Very good, retains 50% original blue finish with the balance a smooth grey patina. 40% original nitre blue remains in the loading gate. The lightly sanded a refinished wood is very good with light dings and scratches throughout and a minor sanded/flattened spot near the toe (partially includes the buttplate). Mechanically excellent.
