Manufactured in 1944. Blade and flat top notch sights, with the standard slide markings, "FJA" inspected frame, stamped trigger, thin checkered hammer, long grip safety, checkered thumb safety, serrated slide catch and arched mainspring housing, Keyes Fiber grips, "G" marked full blue magazine and a High Standard "HS" barrel. Included with the pistol is a brown "Kraft" style shipping box with the traditional Remington-Rand nomenclature printed on the lid, a greased green paper protective wrapper, and a pair of extra magazines in green wrappers.

Excellent plus, as issued, with 99% plus original parkerized finish, showing only limited slide retraction rubs on exposed portion of barrel. Several areas of the pistol are coated with heavy grease, likely applied for long-term storage, and the box shows mild staining and wear. Mechanically excellent. The box is excellent.
