Description:

Manufactured in March 1942. Blade front and fully adjustable rear peep sights with "BATTLE RANGE" marked elevation drum and locking bar windage drum, correct undated Winchester proofed barrel, standard markings on the receiver heel, uncut "WRA" operating rod, milled trigger guard, and "WRA" marked floorplate, hammer, trigger group, and safety. Pistol grip stock with boxed "W.R.A./W.D." inspection cartouche and "crossed cannons" ordnance mark on the left, circled "P" proof on the underside of the wrist, and checkered buttplate without trapdoor. Rifle includes a Scott A. Duff data sheet outlining the major features, signed by Duff, and dated "11-6-02".

Rating Definition:

Fine as restored back to World War II specification with 85% original dark parkerized finish remaining, areas of moderate edge wear, handling marks overall, and some small surface scratches. The stock is also very good with light, though legible markings, small dings overall, and a repaired chip on the grip end. Mechanically excellent.
