Originally part of Finnish military production around the time of the Continuation War, a number of L-35 Lahti pistols were turned down by inspectors; as military contract specifications are often notably tighter than what is strictly needed, it is not unusual for a military contract to result in a number of serviceable but unaccepted weapons. By extension, it was not unusual for an arms maker to take these items and introduce them to the commercial market to recoup their costs. These commercial L-35 Series 3A pistols are seen in a range of about V150 to V400, with total production believed limited to just a few hundred total. Fixed sights, with "VKT/L-35" on top of the barrel extension, matching numbers on the extension, bolt and frame, and checkered grips with "VKT" panels. A "++" stamp is present on the barrel and extension, with "E" electro-penciled on some of the small parts and a laser engraved import mark for Simpson Limited on the right side of the magazine well. Included with the pistol is an extra magazine, cleaning rod, screwdriver, brown leather flap holster and a belt.

Fine, with 50% of the original blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, areas of gray patina, and mild handling marks. The grips are excellent, with a few light handling marks, and the holster and belt show mild scuffing and staining. Mechanically excellent.
