Manufactured in 1956. Hooded, ramped beaded blade front and adjustable rear notch sights, standard barrel markings, and Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Factory drilled and tapped receiver with filler screws in place, standard markings, and matching numbered (electro pencil) bolt. The floorplate is correctly marked "SUPER GRADE". The bolt body, extractor, and follower are factory engine turned. Checkered pistol grip stock with contrasting forend cap, multi-point checkering at the forend and grip, dual reinforcing bolts, blue steel grip cap, raised cheekpiece, sling swivels, and solid rubber Winchester recoil pad. Includes factory box marked for the correct grade and caliber (serial number illegible) matching number bolt tag. Also there is an unusual sling in the box.

Excellent plus with 99% plus original blue finish, crisp markings, and light handling marks. The stock is also excellent with a small crack on the rear left reinforcing bolt cover, sharp checkering, and some small dings. Mechanically excellent. Box is fair with corner and edge wear, discoloration, and some staining.
