Introduced in the 1980s to be a faithful reproduction of the beloved Parker double barrel 28 gauge shotgun. With a single brass bead sight on the concave matte rib, "MOD/FULL" marked chokes, and 2 3/4 chambers with ejectors. The receiver has floral scroll designs with dogs on point on the sides and three pheasants taking flight on the bottom. The engraving extends to the break lever, trigger guard and forearm hardware. Single selective trigger and automatic tang safety. With a nicely figured walnut, checkered, pistol grip stock and splinter forearm with engraved fittings, Winchester/Parker grip cap, blank initial oval, and engraved skeleton buttplate over a checkered bare butt. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .552/.552 inch; choke constriction .014/.036; minimum wall thickness .023/.023 inch; drop at comb 1 1/4 inches; drop at heel 2 inches; length of pull 14 1/8 inches; weight 5 lbs. 12 oz. Excellent with 99% original blue finish on the barrels and some small handling marks. The receiver has had a coat of varnish applied, which is yellowing however the case colors underneath are mostly bright with some silvering on the edges. The wood is also excellent with some small dings and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case and cover are very good with handling and storage wear.
