Manufactured in 1924 and subsequently professionally embellished. Although unsigned, this high art firearm features a near full coverage floral scroll engraving on a punch dot background by the hand of a master artisan. The revolver has an overall blue finish. The engraving on the cylinder, frame, back strap and butt is highlighted in gold and silver. The ejector rod housing, loading gate, cylinder pin, trigger and screws are plated in gold. The remaining surfaces feature an engraving highlighted in gold. The one-piece grip has checkering on the left side and a fabulous relief carved buffalo head on the right side. The grip straps are numbered to the gun.

Very fine as professionally elaborately custom embellished, retaining 99% of all respective finishes showing minimal handling evidence and crisp checkering and carving on the grip. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Legendary Mac McCroskie Collection
