Manufactured in 1897 and subsequently factory refurbished with rework star on left rear trigger guard, standard markings and features otherwise, matching numbers on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap. Pearl grips with a carved steer head on the right panel. Comes with a laminated factory letter listing the revolver with a 5 1/2 inch barrel in .38-40 caliber, blue finish and hard rubber grips with shipped to Simmons Hardware Co. of St. Louis on December 14, 1897.

Very fine, retains 90% factory replated nickel finish with some scattered light frost and flaking, a light cylinder drag line, and some light muzzle wear. The grips are also very fine with minimal wear, some hairline age cracks, and crisp carving. Mechanically excellent.
