Manufactured in 1901. Standard sights, "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" on the left side of the frame, two-line address on top of the barrel, two-line patent marking and circled Rampant Colt trademark on the left side of the frame, assembly number "457" on the loading gate, "8" or "B" on the back of the frame, "1406" hand marked at the top of the grips, and "211406" on the frame, trigger guard, and butt.

Very good with traces of original finish mainly on the trigger guard, mottled gray and brown patina on the balance, mild pitting, and general moderate wear. The grips are very good and have distinct but lightly smoothed checkering, natural aged tones, and minor scratches and marks. Mechanically fine.
