The first domestically manufactured Mexican Mauser rifle with approximately 40,000 manufactured between 1910 and 1934, the year it was phased out of active service. Inverted "V" blade front and adjustable ladder rear sights graduated from "1" to "18", standard maker's mark, Mexican national crest, and "1931" year of manufacture on the receiver ring and matching serial numbers on the receiver and bolt. Smooth straight grip stock with bayonet lug, sling swivels, and flat steel buttplate.

Fine as arsenal refurbished with 90% plus refinished blue on the barrel, traces of small dings and light pitting under the blue, distinct markings, light edge wear, and a mostly dark gray patina on the bolt. The lightly sanded stock is also fine with scattered small dings and rough oxidation on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
