Description:

Manufactured from 1899 to 1910. Blade front sight and raised "V" notch rear sights with integral cocking indicator, matching numbers on the rear sight, slide and frame; and standard markings overall. The right side of the frame is inscribed "K.P.D.M. No 764"(Koenigliche Poleizi-Direktion Munchen), indicating a police weapon issued in Munich prior to the end of World War I and the collapse of the German Empire as a government entity.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 80% of the original blue finish, showing some edge wear, mild spotting, areas of brown patina, and light handling marks. The grips are very good, with some light wear and fine detail in the decoration. Mechanically excellent.

Description:

Manufactured 1906-1959. Fixed sights and standard markings, with a pair of checkered grips, two magazines, and a brown pigskin holster. "AKAH" is inscribed on the front strap. A capture certificate is included, dated 6 December 1945 to a Warrant Officer (Junior Grade) Joseph H. Urban by a Captain Leslie Givens of the 325th Field Artillery Battalion, which identifies this pistol by serial number. The 325th was a component of the 84th Infantry Division (aka the Railsplitters), which arrived in France via Omaha Beach in November of 1944, saw action during Operation Clipper and the Battle of the Bulge, liberated two satellite camps of the Neuegamme Concentration Camp network, and was among the American units to meet up with the Soviets at the Elbe River at war's end. Comes with a partial FN vest pocket observed serial number research list compiled on an online forum with this revolver falling between serial numbers 987554 and 992723.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 85% plus of the original blue finish, showing bright edge wear, mild spotting and light handling marks. The grips are also very fine, and the holster shows some light stains and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
