Description:

This is one of approximately 361 Type III (late pattern) Model 1910 pistols reportedly manufactured by Webley & Scott in the 66300-66600 range. This variation is most readily identified by the lack of a grip safety and the presence of a thumb safety where the breech release button had previously been located. It has a fixed blade front sight, drift adjustable notch rear sight, the winged bullet trademark and the three-line address and caliber marking on the left side of the slide followed by the "SAFE" marking, the serial number on the rear of the frame on the left, Birmingham proofs, checkered grips, and a lanyard loop on the butt offset to the left side.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as professionally restored with 98% plus factory quality blue finish, minor blemishes under the finish, and minimal light handling and storage marks. Mechanically functions, but does not always retract firing pin striker.
