This revolver was manufactured circa 1900-1903 for the Wilkinson Sword Company of London and is essentially a slightly modified version of the Webley Government model. The bottom left of the grip has the Wilkinson register number apparently with another number stamped directly on the original number and looks like "882" stamped over with "771." It has a dovetailed bead style front sight and the usual latch notch rear sight. The barrel rib is marked "WILKINSON SWORD CO PALL MALL. LONDON." with "HW" (Henry Wilkinson) inside two interlocked triangles (six pointed star) on the left rear flat of the barrel along with "455/476" on the left side of the barrel lug. The bottom of the barrel lug has the serial number, and the last three digits along with "476" are on the back of the cylinder. The grip is nicely checkered and has a blank silver initial oval on the back and a steel butt cap with a lanyard ring. It has London proofs stamped in the rear cylinder flutes.

Very fine with 80% plus original blue finish, mostly bright small parts, aged patina on the silver plate which is dented and somewhat proud at the rear, distinct case colors on the lanyard ring base, mostly light brown patina on the balance, scattered light dings and scratches throughout, and distinct markings. The grip is very good and has moderate dents and scrapes in the otherwise crisp checkering and a collection type marking in small painted numbers on the top of the grip at the back. Mechanically excellent.
