Description:

This is the early 17 slide serration version and was manufactured around February 21, 1911 per page 166 of "Webley & Scott Automatic Pistols" by Gordon Bruce which also indicates a production total of around 1,694 for this model in 1908-1922. It has a rounded blade front sight, drift adjustable notch rear sight, slide release button on top, the winged bullet trademark and three-line factory address and caliber marking on the left side of the slide, the serial number on the rear of the frame on the left, checkered grips hand numbered with the last two digits of the serial number, and lanyard loop off-set to the left on the butt.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 70% original blue finish, fairly bright small parts, areas of brown patina, some light oxidation, general minor scratches and marks throughout, and distinct markings. The grips are fair and have repaired cracks at the heel, crisp checkering, scrapes and dings throughout, and minor aging. Mechanically excellent.
