Introduced in 1910 with fixed sights, the 2-line address/patent dates on the slide, Belgian proofs, and checkered "FN" grips. The pistol includes a Japanese style brown leather flap holster. The holster has two brass suspension loops on the back and an improvised/repaired belt loop. Officers in the Japanese military often privately purchased their own sidearms, and the Browning 1910 was also known to have been purchased by the Japanese government.

Very fine with 85% plus original blue finish, distinct markings, areas of light spotting, edge wear, and handling marks overall. The grips are fine with mostly crisp checkering, some small dings, and light scratches. Mechanically excellent. Holster is fine with small scuffs and handling marks overall, tight stitching, and overall solid construction.
