Manufactured in 1954 in the Czech Republic and later imported to the U.S., the CZ vz52 pistol was the Czech answer to the Soviet Tokarev, chambering the 7.62x25 cartridge and operating on a roller-delayed mechanism. Fixed sights, with matching numbers on the slide, chamber and frame, "rid", "(swords)54", and "TB KNOX TN" markings on the frame, a ring hammer, decocker safety, and ribbed grips. The holster is brown leather, with "OTK MAJDOVA" stamped inside the flap. The parts kit is green wood with a dovetailed lid marked "NAHRADNI DILY/PRO 7,62mm PISTOLI vz52" (literally "Spare Parts for 7.62mm Pistol Model 52"), with 31 cut-in slots for parts. Among the included parts (note: some pieces absent, kit not 100% complete) are a pair of grips, an extra magazine, barrel, springs, pins, rollers, and rear sights. On the underside of the lid is a paper inventory label and ink-stamped "1953 rid (swords)".

Excellent, with 97% plus of the matte black phosphate finish, showing some mild edge wear and handling marks. The grips shows a few light scuffs and dents. The holster is very good, with some mild scuffing and stains, as well as some lost and replaced stitching. The kit is in fine order, with mild wear. The hold-open needs adjustment, otherwise mechanically fine.
