Fixed blade and notch sights with "PROPERTY OF U.S.A." on top of the barrel and "PROPERTY OF/U.S." on the right side of the frame. Standard address, caliber, and model markings on the left side of the frame and slide with a serrated trigger and checkered exposed hammer.

Very fine. 85% plus original blue finish remains with areas of minor edge wear, surface scratches, scattered light spotting, and mild brown patina on the grip straps. The grips are also very fine with mostly crisp checkering and some small dings and scratched on butt. Mechanically excellent.

High Standard produced approximately 14,000 Model B pistols specifically for the U.S. government between 1942 and 1943. This particular pistol features a fixed blade front and fixed flat top rear notch sights, and "PROPERTY OF U.S." on top of the barrel. With standard markings on the left side of the frame and "PROPERTY OF/U.S." on the right side over a crossed cannons Ordnance Dept. acceptance mark. Grips are checkered plastic with a circled "HS" monogram in the center.
