Manufactured in May of 1942. Blade and peep sights, with "flat" battle range adjustment drums, "S-A-4-42" barrel, "SA" bolt, trigger housing, hammer, safety, and an uncut operating rod. The stock is "P" and "S.A./G.H.S." marked, with a green canvas sling and a checkered steel buttplate.

Fine, with 70% of the original parkerized finish, showing some mild edge and cycling wear, mild rubbing on the sides of the gas cylinder, minor spotting and a few areas of brown patina. The stock is good, with a few areas of filler, a pair of plastic inserts installed on the underside to tighten the fit of the floorplate, and a number of dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
