Manufactured in 1953. Blade front and fully adjustable rear peep sights, "4-54" dated "SA" marked barrel, "SA" marked bolt carrier, trigger group, hammer, and safety, and standard markings on the receiver heel. Smooth pistol grip stock with DOD "eagle" cartouche on the left side, circled "P" stamp on the underside of the wrist, and stamped checkered trapdoor buttplate. With CMP Certificate of Authenticity identifying the rifle by serial number and noting the model as "M1 Garand Correct Grd".

Very fine. 97% plus parkerized finish remains with some light edge wear on the charging handle and handling marks overall. The stock is fine with some dings and pressure marks. Mechanically excellent.
