Description:

Blade front and two-leaf slip up rear peep sights, undated IBM barrel, standard IBM marking on the receiver heel over the serial number and "AO" marking indicating manufacture by IBM sub-contractor Auto Ordnance, stamped and brazed trigger guard, unmarked push button safety, and unmarked smooth magazine catch. High wood pistol grip stock with two-rivet handguard, no inspection marks, "JLB" marking in the sling recess, "crossed cannons" Ordnance Department stamp on the right side of the stock, oval cut oiler slot, and stamped checkered buttplate. With canvas web sling.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as restored to World War II configuration with 90% parkerized finish, scattered light surface scratches, handling marks overall, mild edge wear, and some light spotting. The bolt retains most of the refinished blue. The reoiled stock and handguard set are fine with some small dings and wear on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
