Originally produced by Colt in 1944, this pistol was subsequently selected by the Springfield Armory for upgrade to a National Match competition-grade pistol. Serrated Patridge blade front sight and Triangle-brand adjustable rear sights, with a Colt "NM7791435" slide, "7267718/NM" bushing, and "NM 7267717" barrel (slide and barrel numbered to match the frame), and a "GHD" frame with "T", "S A" and "NM" stamps. Equipped with a long serrated adjustable trigger, checkered narrow hammer, checkered front strap and mainspring housing, checkered grips (right solid backed, left ribbed Keyes Fiber) and a full blue "MFR.1M291" magazine electro-penciled on the spine to match the pistol. Includes an unmarked modern "kraft" style shipping box and a vapor-wrapped extra magazine.

Very fine as arsenal upgraded to National Match specifications, with 99% of the parkerized finish, showing some minor spotting, edge wear and handling marks. The grips are excellent, with some light dents and scuffs. The box shows some stains and turn edges. Mechanically excellent.
