Manufactured in 1942. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block Colt address and patent markings on the left side of the slide, divided by the Rampant Colt, "P" on top, and the matching serial number beneath the firing pin stop. "W.B." inspected frame, with "K/VP" and "55" on the trigger guard. Checkered milled trigger, wide hammer, slide catch and thumb safety, arched mainspring housing, hollow backed Colt grips, unmarked full blue magazine and a large "G" marked "COLT 45 AUTO" barrel.

Very fine, with 90% plus arsenal parkerized finish, showing bright edge wear and handling marks, a few dings around the magazine well, and a few areas of gray patina. The grips are excellent, with some light dings. Mechanically excellent.
