Manufactured in 1907. Fixed sights, with the two-line, two-block patent dates and address on the left side of the slide ahead of the Rampant Colt, and the two-line caliber marking on the right. A casehardened finish is present on the knurled round spur hammer, with a niter blue trigger and royal blue slide catch. The frame is marked "VP" on the trigger guard, with an unmarked full blue magazine and checkered grips.

Very good. 30% of the blue finish is present, strongest in the protected areas on the frame, with the remainder showing a mixed brown and gray patina, scattered spotting and shallow pitting, edge wear and some mild scuffs and dings. 20% of the original niter blue finishes are present, and the darkened grips are also very good with some dents and flat spots. Mechanically fine.
