Manufactured in 1943 with standard markings including the "HEAVY BARREL" marking below the model designation on the left side of the barrel and fitted with pinned red-beaded blade front and white-outline notch rear sights. Pre-1922 production checkered walnut grips with deep set factory medallion. Includes a correctly labeled Colt maroon box renumbered to the gun.

Very fine, retains 85% plus original blue finish with front grip strap thinning to gray, some light muzzle and edge wear, some light handling marks, and a light cylinder drag line. The earlier production replacement grips have a few light handling marks, some light oxidation/verdigris on the medallions, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with some minor handling/storage wear and marks.
